As the years go by and the distance grows farther
When life seems to just get in the way
And phone calls become fewer
The love still remains the same
We’ve shared many memories together
Many tears that turned into laughter
And laughters that has brought as tears
We’ve come to a time in our life
Where we have to go in our separate ways
And the one thing I want you to know
I will love you my friend always
The love that I have for you is unconditional
And all that you have done as my friend
From the deepest depths of my soul, I am very grateful
No matter where this life, takes us
Not matter how many miles apart
The one thing I know for certain
You will always be an important key to my heart
